In April 2020, Hair Cuttery faced a change in ownership when debtor in possession Hair Cuttery Salon Holdings Inc, affiliated with Tacit Salon Holdings LLC and helmed by CEO Seth Gittlitz, acquired the business. The acquisition not only entailed financial support for the chain's operational expenses but also facilitated the reinstatement of employee remuneration, which had been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


The Hair Cuttery Family of Brands actively oversees the operations of Hair Cuttery, Bubbles, and Cibu salon chains. With a vast network of over 500 salons at its disposal, Hair Cuttery employs more than 5,000 skilled stylists.
