Xbox Vapor

Ah... Xbox. Everyone desires to vaporize Xbox. Why? Because there's always an irritating AWP in mid blocking your path to short. So here are two alternatives for you.

Smoke for Long Corner

Why do we throw this smoke? It compels the CT to have to expose themselves to spot double doors on long. This way, even if they get the first kill, the follow-up has an opportunity to take them down through the smoke when they try to retreat. Without the smoke, the CT can get a kill and take cover behind the wall.

These are my favorites, but check out Dust2 nades if you prefer to throw it from T Spawn:

A Site, CT Spawn

Almost there, let's plant A site! Nothing can hinder us now... Oh, wait... You just got taken out by an AWP while crossing to A-site. You should have obscured CT spawn. You can easily improvise this one, but you could get caught off guard with a grenade in your hand.

The Mid to B Vapor

Rush B!? Rush A!!.. Nah... Let's go through mid to B instead. Throw this smoke and execute a B split. Optionally, throw the flash to make life a little easier. It blinds anyone standing behind the door perfectly.

Popflash grenade spots

Popflashes are intended to blind and disorient the enemy unexpectedly, compelling them into a state of panic and hopefully enabling you to swoop in and eliminate them. A well-executed Popflash can be a game changer, so it's crucial that you know all the right spots.

Sometimes inflicting damage on the enemy is not the best strategy when attempting to rush to a specific location on the map. Sometimes, all you need to do is stun them and go in for the kill.

This is particularly useful when rushing through Long A, especially due to those frequently infuriating doors everyone seems to peer through. Here's how to stun the enemy and gain a rapid advantage:

Towards A Long

A long flash line-upStarting from the T (terrorist) Spawn, the pathway lead by an arched gateway that leads the terrorists towards the A Site is called the A Long. New or grassroots-level players tend to rush towards the position without any usage of grenades. However, at the higher echelons and professional level, a dry peek will simply be met with terminal punishment.

So, in order to safely peek at A Long to scout for some real estate from the counter-terrorists, the terrorists must first throw a flashbang while running from T Spawn towards A Long. This not only disorients the enemy but also protects your teammates from getting disoriented, which allows for a smooth transition of entering A Long.

Smoking off CT cross

Even if terrorists take control of A Long, they still need to cross the CT (counter-terrorist) Spawn in order to get into the A Site. While one can simply run the distance, it is extremely dangerous. Anybody holding the angle from CT Spawn gets a wide-angle view as they can catch any passerby in the act of crossing.

So, in order to secure the crossing, a player simply needs to stand beside the barrels and throw a running smoke as shown in the video.

New Car molly

Since the revamp of Dust in CS: GO, the new car position has been notoriously exploited by players as it provides subtle cover where the players entering from A Long cannot see the player.

So, clearing out this position is one of the most important things to do before taking or retaking Bombsite A. It can easily be cleared by lining up a Molotov or Incendiary Grenade from A Long.

If the CS: GO player stands on the long barrel and throws a Molotov lined up exactly as shown in the picture below, they can easily spread fire in the new car position, flushing out the hidden player. The player just needs to jump and throw the Molotov and let it do its magic.

T Spawn to A Short smoke

In order for players to cross A Short on the Dust 2 map in CS: GO, they must first smoke off the catwalk so that the opposing players cannot catch a glimpse of them crossing by. To do this, first, the players need to get into the position as shown in the picture below.

Door smoke

In the upper tunnels near B, players can look at the ceiling after positioning themselves next to the box by the door. Toss a smoke between the small gap in the ceiling, and it will land directly to block the CT player's sight.

Cross smoke

Best Grenade Spots Dust 2

Go past the long doors and equip the smoke grenade. Aim at the edge of the crosswalk and start running toward Long A. Jump, throw the smoke, and keep moving with ample cover.

Long flash

Toss a flash over this wall (Image via Valve)It's not always about smoke grenades. The flash at A Long is an effective way to blind enemies, allowing for a push and takedown without impairing the vision of either side.

Head outside A Long and aim at the top of the wall over the car. Jump, throw the flash, and rush through the doors to catch any enemies caught off guard by the flashbang.
