    Tacos Favorito is located in a building that has undergone various transformations over the years, but the signage hasn't been updated yet. They only accept cash, so make sure to bring your friends who have cash. Order at the counter in the back, then find a table and wait for your amazing tacos to be served. The tacos are served plain (just like the friend who came with cash), so head to the toppings bar to customize them as you like. They don't serve chips and salsa, but the affordable and delicious tacos compensate for it.

    I came across this place through the Instagram page of Montgomery Marauder. You'll find the tacos and other Mexican food at the back of a grocery store. They don't serve chips and salsa, but you can customize your tacos with the toppings available. Pay at the counter upfront, as they accept both cash and card.


    Taqueria El Campesino

    Out of all the places, I visit Taqueria El Campesino the most because it's conveniently located close to one of my workplaces and has a friendly atmosphere. It's connected to a grocery store and situated just down the street from Tacos Favorito. When you order tacos here, they come with white onions and cilantro. They also offer free chips and salsa. I've tried tacos with head meat, pig skin, and vegetarian options here.


    El Taco Shop

    If you find yourself on the far east side of town, this is the place to go. It's located in a strip mall on Taylor Road and offers tacos in a modern and vibrant setting. They serve chips and salsa upon request, and you can customize your tacos at the toppings bar.


    La Coronilla

    This used to be known as "the place with plants on the ceiling," but unfortunately, they have taken them down. They offer free chips and salsa, and their guacamole is the best in town. For the tacos, they come with white onion, cilantro, and salsa verde on the side.

    This place is known for its strong margaritas and outstanding choriqueso. They offer free chips and salsa, and the tacos come with toppings on the side. Don't leave without trying their ceviche according to my roommate's recommendation.


    SOL RESTAURANT MEXICANO & TAQUERIA REVIEWS

    We dined here on Thursday, May 16th, 2022, around 12:30 pm. The restaurant was bustling, but we were promptly seated and served. The lunch menu had a good variety, including street tacos and traditional dishes. We ordered tamales, chile rellenos, and enchiladas. The chile rellenos were the best we've ever had, and the tamales were freshly made. The enchiladas were made with corn tortillas and were equally fantastic. Both our meals and those of other diners seemed generously portioned. Our bill came to $19.00 plus tax.

    We highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

    This was our first visit, and we were extremely pleased with the food, drinks, and service. We will definitely come back!

    The food and service were excellent. We were passing through town and randomly chose this place. We were not disappointed, especially with the churros, which were amazing! Seriously, don't miss out on the churros here.

    I really enjoyed the option to create my own guacamole. The guacamole I made was outstanding. Since it's usually busy here, I recommend making a reservation in advance.
