With an extensive menu that seems to have something for everyone, Starbucks has become a go-to destination for coffee and beverage lovers all around the world. From classic favorites like the Caramel Macchiato and Vanilla Latte to unique creations like the Dragonfruit Shortcake Frappuccino and Samoa Cookie Frappuccino, there's no shortage of options to satisfy every palate. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or prefer a refreshing fruit-infused drink, Starbucks has you covered. In this article, we'll explore some of the best and most popular drinks that Starbucks has to offer, so grab your favorite cozy spot and get ready to discover your new go-to beverage.

The Pineapple Dole Whip Refresher

I've had this drink a time or two, and the pineapple flavor is incredibly potent and sweet. If you're longing for the nostalgia of a Pineapple Dole Whip Refresher, this drink is remarkably similar to it. You have two options to make it. You can order a Paradise drink with a scoop of Vanilla bean powder topped with Vanilla Sweet Cold Foam, or if cold foam isn't your thing, you can order a Paradise drink but instead of coconut milk, substitute it with vanilla sweet cream as the dairy option along with a scoop of vanilla bean powder and two pumps of vanilla.

Iced Green Lemonade

I don't mean to be dramatic, but this classic drink is genuinely one of the most refreshing beverages known to humanity. So, if you haven't given it a try yet, I highly encourage you to go and enjoy a wonderful experience.

Mango Dragonfruit Refresher

mango dragonfruit refresherInstagram/racheleudaleyDragonfruit isn't your typical flavor option. That's why its uniqueness alone makes it a compelling choice for this drink. The addition of mango brings even more tropical flavors, making it a delicious option without being as filling or heavy as a hot beverage.

Iced Dirty Chai Latte

starbucks dirty chaiInstagram/londonbrollyWhile this drink has been featured on the fan-run Starbucks Secret Menu site, the concept of a dirty chai (chai with a shot of espresso) is actually quite classic. It's perfect when you desire the energy of a conventional latte without necessarily craving the taste. It might just be the ultimate coffee drink to savor as summer comes to an end.

Mocha Frappuccino

It invokes memories of going to the mall as a middle schooler and feeling blissful, albeit with a tinge of regret. It's definitely on the sweeter side, so it may not be the best choice for those seeking a more coffee-forward flavor.

Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Our absolute favorite Starbucks drink is the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Yes, the name of this coffee exceeds the length of certain Game of Thrones characters' names, and it might take you the entire morning to order it.

The brown sugar provides a subtle caramel undertone without overpowering the authentic coffee taste. The oat milk gives it a creamy texture, while the "shaken" preparation adds an extra frothy touch. Perhaps James Bond was actually onto something, aside from dealing with Le Chiffre.

Pike Place Roast

It's hard to fathom, but Starbucks did originate as a humble single store in Seattle. While various aspects have changed over the years, from the Starbucks logo to creative drink concoctions, one thing remains consistent—the classic Pike Place Roast. You can enjoy this medium-roast coffee at any location, any time of the year, and it will always be there to provide a comforting cup of drip coffee when you simply need a straightforward dose of caffeine.

American Coffee

Facts about Nutrition: 15 calories, 0 grams of sugar

Starbucks coffee greatly benefits from a splash of milk and a little sugar. And you know what? When I have this, I long for those ingredients.

Cappuccino

The cappuccino is where things start to get a little more intriguing. This classic barista item is yet another drink that Starbucks has taken inspiration from the coffee traditions of Italy — but this one is even older than the Americano. The first known record of the cappuccino was from the 1930s. At Starbucks, the cappuccino is also one of the chain's oldest beverages. It has been on the menu since 1986, according to a report by Business Insider.

A Starbucks cappuccino is prepared with one shot of espresso for its short and tall size options, and two shots for its grande and venti sizes. Then, they add half steamed milk (2% by default) and half milk foam. The drink is naturally not sweetened. If you usually prefer lattes, you can request a wet cappuccino, which means your drink will have less foam and more milk, as per the company's guidance.

This beverage is slightly more captivating than the previous two. It provides comfort and brings to mind a coffeehouse from the '90s, a time when Starbucks started to thrive, as mentioned by the chain. It's not typically prepared as an iced beverage, which helps maintain its integrity. However, the cappuccino is still more closely associated with Italy or generic cafes than with Starbucks. That's why this popular drink from Starbucks remains near the bottom of the ranking.

Dragon Drink

Introduced in 2018, Dragon Drink is a fusion of the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher and coconut milk. Both the Dragon Drink and its Refresher base include actual pieces of dragonfruit (also known as pitaya). Upon its launch, Starbucks marketed it as an energizing drink for the afternoon, and Refreshers generally fulfill this purpose well since they contain caffeine, although in smaller amounts compared to some other beverages on the menu. It strikes the right balance because, as mentioned by AASM, consuming too much caffeine up to six hours before bedtime has been found to affect sleep quality negatively.

Similar to how the Star Drink doesn't contain any starfruit, the Dragon Drink is without mango, and the only dragonfruit present is in the form of freeze-dried pieces added to the beverage (via Starbucks). However, the flavor is dominantly mango, with subtle hints of dragonfruit. We are not particularly fond of this aspect of the drink. If it's called Dragon Drink, shouldn't it taste like dragonfruit? While it's not as enjoyable, the name Mango Drink would be more fitting. And that's not the only shortcoming. Vogue suggests that Dragon Drink is primarily meant to be photographed and is better suited for your Instagram feed than for nourishment. We tend to agree.

Blush Drink

Based on the number of times this beverage annoyingly appeared on my For You Page on TikTok, I would rank it at the bottom. But this is an expert review. Despite the fact that I'm writing this in my pajamas.

Preconceived notions aside, the Blush Drink tastes like a blend of Strawberry Nesquik with a diluted strawberry flavor. It has a slightly creamy texture due to the addition of coconut milk, which theoretically should enhance the taste... but instead, it just makes me crave a tropical getaway, far away from this beverage.

Overall, I don't believe it deserves the hype it has amassed. However, if you have a sweet tooth and adore strawberries, then it could potentially be a winner for you. We eagerly await your review while we relax on the beach in Bora Bora.Best Starbucks Drink - Pink Drink

Warm Chocolatey Indulgence

Insight into Nutrition: 370 calories, 37 grams of sugar

I attended college with a bunch of people I no longer see. That's a normal part of growing up and everything. I also used to consume a considerable amount of hot chocolate as a child, but I no longer do so. That, too, is a part of growing up and whatnot. However, when you catch sight of those old friends or take a sip of hot chocolate, you are transported back in time. You're thirteen, watching your brother play soccer in the windy weather, desperate to be indoors watching a football game. Yet, there you are, savoring your hot chocolate and listening to the game on the radio.

Iced Matcha Tea Latte

The Iced Matcha Tea Latte at Starbucks doesn't exactly embody authenticity. It's made using instant, pre-sweetened matcha powder, as mentioned by OhHowCivilized. To create their iced latte, they mix the powder with 2% milk and ice. Surprisingly, there's actually more sugar in the instant powder than matcha. This could explain why the Starbucks Iced Matcha Tea Latte is sweeter and has a milder matcha taste compared to other matcha lattes.

As The Foodies Fit Home rightly points out, "Certainly, there are likely better matcha options available to you." Due to the drink's high sugar content, it cannot be considered a healthy option like other matcha beverages. While you may receive a small dose of antioxidants from the minimal amount of real matcha present in Starbucks' powder, it's not significant.

If you've tried the drink (and you appreciate matcha), you'll know it lacks a certain something. The flavor is somewhat dull and milky. To make matters worse, the commonly chosen grande size usually ends up being mostly ice, with some undissolved matcha clumps at the bottom. Overall, the Iced Matcha Tea Latte still tastes good, but it's not as intricate, satisfying, or innovative as other tea drinks available at Starbucks.

Iced Enlivened Chai Tea Latte

Here's another item from the secret menu that's worth mentioning. Personally, I think it barely qualifies as a "secret" item since it's a minor modification to the Starbucks Iced Chai Tea Latte. It's also not exclusive to Starbucks, as most other cafes that serve chai lattes can make a dirty chai. The reason is simple: the drink just involves adding an espresso shot, as revealed by Starbucks Secret Menu.

What the Froth points out that the espresso alters the texture of the drink, stating, "Their typical chai tea latte usually has a thicker consistency than a regular vanilla latte, but the addition of the shot of espresso gave it a very latte-like consistency." Additionally, this drink is packed with caffeine. A grande Starbucks Iced Chai Latte contains 95 milligrams of caffeine, and the added espresso shot contributes an extra 75 milligrams (according to Consumer Reports). That puts its caffeine content on par with most of Starbucks' coffee-based lattes.

On the downside, the base of the Iced Enlivened Chai Tea Latte is similar to the issue with ordering matcha at Starbucks: it's unremarkable and lacks authenticity. The drink is made from a chai tea concentrate that's already sweetened. This results in an overall sweet taste, but it would be better if it was made with real chai tea.

Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte

This roundup wouldn't be complete without mentioning one of Starbucks' coffee lattes. Iced coffee lattes are particularly popular among Starbucks customers, and this version stands out as one of the best. Just ask Day of the Human, who describes it as, "This is the ultimate Starbucks Vanilla Latte ... The flavor of this drink is much more complex than what I'm used to from Starbucks, and it's delicious."

The Iced Starbucks Blonde Vanilla Latte is an original creation by the chain. It embodies the best aspects of Starbucks: freshly brewed coffee and dashes of syrup. In fact, this drink is made with four pumps of vanilla syrup. Combined with 2% milk, it perfectly complements the Blonde Espresso, a blend of espresso with a milder flavor created by Starbucks.

This beverage has transformed many Vanilla Latte enthusiasts into devoted fans of the Blonde Vanilla Latte. According to The Daily Meal, "This goes out to all the people who like their coffee to not really taste like coffee: You will love this drink. It's smooth and velvety, devoid of any burnt notes typical of a dark-roast espresso.

Nitro Cold Brew

While lattes are alright, they've become quite outdated. Cold brew coffee has been trending for quite some time now. The brewing process, which takes several hours, produces a beverage that is less acidic compared to regular iced coffee. Starbucks introduced their cold brew in 2015, and later came the nitro version. Similar to the conventional cold brew, coarsely-ground coffee is added to cold water and left to steep for 20 hours. The coffee is then slowly extracted from the grounds and combined with water. However, for Nitro Cold Brew, nitrogen is infused into the coffee, creating microbubbles and an additional layer of froth, as explained by Starbucks.

This Nitro Cold Brew is truly a work of art. It's brewed to be served cold, so your ice won't dilute its flavor. According to Starbucks' menu, a grande size contains 80 milligrams more caffeine than the regular cold brew. The meticulous brewing process ensures a higher quality beverage compared to Starbucks' regular espresso drinks. However, this drink truly shines when you enhance it with Starbucks flavors, which is why we have ranked some of its variations as superior.

Irish Cream Cold Brew

Nutritional information: 200 calories, 19 grams of sugar

I have a fondness for this seasonal beverage, I must admit. However, I find it perplexing that the company opted for regular cold brew instead of nitro cold brew, which would have provided a creamy texture that is approximately 100 gazillion times better. (Refer to: Nitro Cold Brew with Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam.) Nonetheless, the combination of Irish cream syrup and vanilla sweet cream cold foam offers a taste reminiscent of an adult beverage that rhymes with Schmailey's. The dusting of cocoa powder on top adds a delightfully indulgent touch. Regardless, why wasn't this drink served as a nitro creation again?!

Strawberry Cream Frappuccino

The Blended Crème line, first introduced in 2002, marked a departure from Frappuccinos traditionally made with coffee or tea (via Starbucks). While these drinks don't contain caffeine, they do bring energy and enjoyment in the form of sweetness. They are available in various flavors, including the Strawberry Cream Frappuccino, prepared with ice, whole milk, strawberry puree sauce, and topped with whipped cream. A grande serving contains 370 calories and 51 grams of sugar.

Feedback on this beverage often highlights the prominent strawberry flavor. According to Coffee at Three, "If you have a passion for strawberries, you will adore this delectable frozen concoction that blends strawberry syrup, milk, and ice to create a delightful berry treat." Others regard the fruity taste as more akin to a dessert. For instance, a reviewer on Fast Food Menu Prices affirms, "It's a tantalizing fusion of fruity and creamy flavors that evokes images of superior strawberry ice cream." In conclusion, the Strawberry Cream Frappuccino is a fantastic choice for those who crave a sweet Frappuccino experience without the presence of caffeine or coffee.

Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew

When it comes to Starbucks' flavored syrups, vanilla takes the spotlight. The Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew combines the best aspects of the previous two drinks. Like the classic Nitro Cold Brew, it boasts an effervescent texture and an extra jolt of caffeine. Similar to the Irish Cream option, it is adorned with a delightful touch of sweetness. However, this beverage offers a more complex and sweeter flavor compared to its predecessors.

The Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew is essentially Nitro Cold Brew topped with sweet cream. One fan on Reddit captures its appeal by stating, "I know it's going to be a delightful experience when I receive a cup of velvety, black liquid topped with slowly cascading cream." Unfortunately, many customers have shared their concerns regarding inconsistencies with this beverage, as mentioned in the aforementioned online thread. Despite the occasional issues experienced by customers, the Vanilla Sweet Cream Nitro Cold Brew still holds its place as a satisfying choice.

Toasted White Chocolate Mocha

As part of the Holiday drink menu, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha puts a unique spin on a beloved classic. We all know about the famous Peppermint Mocha, and Starbucks enthusiasts are familiar with the White Chocolate Mocha. However, the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha takes things up a notch. The recipe includes 2% milk (both steamed and foamed), two shots of espresso, four pumps of toasted white chocolate mocha sauce, and a topping of whipped cream topped with festive sprinkles.

Some may presume that this drink would be an easy target for Starbucks haters to critique. However, let us explain: this beverage is truly delightful, offering all the sweetness one desires in a sugary Christmas coffee concoction. Elite Daily deems it as "similar to a sweet white chocolate fudge that my grandma would prepare during the holiday season." Of course, it does have its downsides, as white chocolate tends to be polarizing among individuals. Additionally, it faces stiff competition in the realm of holiday beverages.

Matcha Cream Frappuccino

The Matcha Cream Frappuccino is a visually striking iced beverage with its vibrant green hue. The ingredients include ice, milk, creme Frappuccino syrup, classic syrup, and a blend of matcha tea, similar to what is used in Starbucks' green tea lattes. Each grande serving contains 420 calories, 61 grams of sugar, and 70 milligrams of caffeine, making it a potent Frappuccino in terms of both its flavor and caffeine content.

Although this Frappuccino is highly popular for its Instagrammable appearance, fans of traditional Starbucks green tea beverages may find it lacking in flavor. According to Brand Eating, "Matcha possesses a distinct, bold taste that sets it apart from other green teas... In the Green Tea Frappuccino, that intensity is mellowed by the inclusion of milk and sugar." Of course, this milder version might appeal to those who are new to the matcha taste. If you prefer a gentle yet sweet tea-based Frappuccino from Starbucks, this might be the one for you.

Iced Green Tea Lemonade

This delightful drink offers a playful twist on the classic combination of Arnold Palmer's iced tea and lemonade. Apart from featuring green tea, a trendy beverage known for its numerous health benefits, this drink also incorporates lemongrass, mint, and lemon verbena for added freshness. Another positive aspect of the Iced Green Tea Lemonade is its low sugar and calorie content. A grande serving contains only 50 calories and 11 grams of sugar, a significant contrast to another Starbucks green tea beverage, the Matcha Cream Frappuccino, with its 420 calories and 61 grams of sugar for a grande.

Although a peach variation is available, we recommend avoiding the addition of stone fruit. The standard version achieves a perfect balance between sweetness (from the lemonade) and the natural flavor of green tea. The inclusion of peach would overpower the beverage, making it excessively sweet. While the Iced Green Tea Lemonade may not be the pinnacle of tea drinks at Starbucks, we still prefer it over artificial options such as the Refreshers.

Honey Citrus Mint Tea

This is another secret menu item that gained popularity through social media and was later officially introduced by Starbucks in 2017. As reported by Teen Vogue, it was previously ordered off the secret menu. Allegedly, a former Starbucks barista came up with the recipe, as stated by Thrillist. While it was originally known as the Medicine Ball, Starbucks officially named it the Honey Citrus Mint Tea.

The official recipe consists of Jade Citrus Mint green tea, Peach Tranquility herbal tea, steamed lemonade (yes, you read it correctly), and two pumps of honey blend syrup. Some individuals choose to add a pump of peppermint syrup. While this is an optional addition, we appreciate the burst of coolness it brings to the warm beverage. Without a doubt, this is the best non-dairy tea option available at Starbucks.

Chestnut Praline Latte

In 2014, when Starbucks introduced the Chestnut Praline Latte, it became their first new holiday beverage in five years. Inspired by the flavors found in European holiday markets, this seasonal beverage is topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs. These elements add a delightful visual element to the drink and allow the nutty qualities to be seen. Spoon University noted, "what sets the Chestnut Praline apart from the rest is its lighter taste, with more emphasis on spice rather than sweetness, conjuring images of warm fireside comfort." However, they also mentioned that the chestnut flavor is somewhat challenging to discern. A reviewer on People echoed a similar sentiment, describing the flavor as "more praline than chestnut, with a rich buttery taste that leans towards savory."

As with other Starbucks beverages, the Chestnut Praline Latte falls short in fully delivering on all its advertised elements. Nevertheless, it still offers more complexity compared to the Pistachio Latte and is an enjoyable blend of sweetness and spice. It exudes sophistication without being as monotonous as the Pistachio Latte.

London Fog Tea Latte

The London Fog Tea Latte is exceptional. Similar to other superior beverages at Starbucks, it is most enjoyable when served hot. According to Starbucks, the concoction consists of Earl Grey tea, steamed 2% milk, and four pumps of vanilla syrup. As stated bySpoon University, this beverage is created misto-style, signifying that it is half black tea and half steamed milk. Many individuals who have experienced the London Fog comment that it is filled with warm, comforting spices like bergamot, which provides a citrus flavor found in Earl Grey tea.

You can even utilize this drink as a substitute for the Medicine Ball. According to a writer from What the Froth, the London Fog is their preferred choice whenever they are feeling a bit under the weather, as it possesses a soft, soothing flavor accompanied by a creamy texture. They further suggest that the vanilla element grants it a broad appeal, owing to the popularity of Starbucks' syrup.

In summary, the London Fog is a resounding triumph (as the Brits would say). The tea offers a touch more flavor compared to the Medicine Ball, without being overly sweet like the Matcha Latte. It is undoubtedly one of the finest tea lattes (whether served hot or iced) offered by Starbucks. Additionally, its soft, hazy appearance brings to mind the image of fog rolling over Tower Bridge.

Apple Crisp Macchiato

Introduced in August 2021 as part of the fall Starbucks menu, the Apple Crisp Macchiato is a coffee-based beverage that also doubles as a delectable dessert. Starbucks has several macchiatos, which, according to the chain's definition, consist of espresso shots topped with a small amount of foam and steamed milk in equal proportions. It may resemble a latte, but it is not quite the same. A macchiato contains significantly less steamed milk and foam.

The grande size of this beverage comprises two shots of espresso, 2% milk, three pumps of apple brown sugar syrup, and a crosshatch pattern on the top created with spiced apple drizzle, according to the menu. As far as fall drinks go, it undoubtedly hits the bullseye. It is sweet, flavorful, evokes nostalgia, and serves as a pleasant divergence from the Caramel Macchiato.

Let us be clear: This may not be the ultimate fall drink. However, it can be deemed the perfect beverage for September or November. As Taste of Home suggests, "If you desire a fall drink that brims with the boldness of October, go for the PSL. If you prefer a more subdued autumn flavor, opt for an Apple Crisp Macchiato."

Iced Toasted Vanilla Oat Milk Shaken Espresso

Although placing an order for this drink may require some effort due to its name, oh boy, is it worth it. Starbucks’ shaken espresso draws inspiration from the Italian shakerato, which essentially consists of chilled espresso. The toasted vanilla syrup adds a delightful caramelized touch to this foamy espresso beverage infused with oat milk, making it an innovative departure from the classic Italian creation. But hey, who are we to complain when it tastes this incredible? It truly serves as a rewarding treat, regardless of the time of day or season.

Pumpkin Creme Cold Brew Via Starbucksvia starbucks.com

Caramel Frappuccino

Does anyone even bother blending the whipped cream with the coffee, or do you devour it separately? Even without mixing the whipped cream, we anticipated that this Starbucks drink would have a more distinct coffee flavor, which it regrettably lacks.

Nevertheless, it secures the second spot. The classic Caramel Frappuccino is pleasantly sweet, possesses a subtle hint of coffee, offers a supremely creamy texture, and boasts an abundance of caramel goodness. If you are not fond of coffee yet still crave that caffeine boost, this is the drink for you. Just remember that it may come with a side of sugar.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

For many individuals, the return of the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte signifies the advent of autumn. This indulgent beverage represents a delightful blend of warm flavors such as pumpkin, vanilla, and cinnamon, crowned with Starbucks' signature house-made whipped cream. As described by Coffee At Three, "what is fall without the PSL, a drink that is so widely recognized that you can simply refer to it by its initials and everyone will understand exactly what you mean. The Pumpkin Spice Latte combines espresso, steamed milk, and pumpkin spice sauce."

You may be under the impression that this beverage is excessively acclaimed to merit the top position, but experts beg to differ. The abundant positive reviews should not be overlooked, not to mention the remarkable lasting power of the PSL. According to Tasting Table, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is "probably the most-memed drink on this entire list. 'Basic' jokes are often targeted towards its consumers, but those who criticize the Pumpkin Spice Latte have likely never had the pleasure of tasting it. Had they done so, they would likely think twice; this drink is infamous and undeniably delicious."

"Mock it all you want, but there is a reason why the Pumpkin Spice Latte has achieved iconic status among mundane beverages," remarks Thrillist. "While it may occasionally veer towards being overly sweet (you can always request less syrup), it is undeniably a treat. The espresso perfectly compliments the latte's blend of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove."

Iced Caramel Macchiato

Purists may scoff at this particular drink—after all, a Starbucks macchiato is far from being an authentic macchiato—but regardless of what you call it, you cannot deny its deliciousness. While a genuine macchiato consists of a shot of espresso with a dollop of frothed milk, the Starbucks iced caramel macchiato is an extravagant medley of espresso, vanilla syrup, milk, and a drizzle of caramel.

Caramel Brulée Frappuccino

Nutritional info: 400 calories, 58 grams sugar

Ordering a caramel brulée for dessert is typically associated with a warm treat. The caramel flavors are known to shine brightest when paired with hot ingredients. Personally, I prefer my coffee in cold form, but even with that preference, the flavors of this frappuccino don't quite align with my taste buds. I generally find Starbucks' presentation of their caramel flavors to be lacking, although their hot caramel brulée latte fares better in terms of flavor. It might be best to enjoy this frappuccino as a warm delight rather than a cold indulgence.

Smooth Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino

Nutritional info: 380 calories, 52 grams of sugar

This frappuccino doesn't disappoint, but it also doesn't leave a lasting impression. It's a simple, straightforward vanilla flavor that doesn't offer any unique or remarkable qualities.

Caramel Macchiato

If you're someone who enjoys showcasing your coffee knowledge but doesn't particularly enjoy the taste of coffee itself, the Caramel Macchiato is the drink for you. It gives off more of a caramel syrup mixed with skim milk vibe rather than a distinct coffee flavor.

In Italian, "macchiato" translates to "marked", referring to the small amount of milk "marking" the espresso. Starbucks, however, takes a liberal approach to this definition and adds a significant amount of milk, along with coffee and caramel. But hey, what's in a name, right? Well, except for you, Karen.Best Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks

Indulgent Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino

Nutritional info: 470 calories, 60 grams sugar

As someone who has expressed disappointment with Starbucks' caramel offerings, I must admit that this frappuccino manages to bring out the best of caramel flavors in a drink. The combination of vanilla whipped cream, coffee, and dark caramel sauce works harmoniously. However, one aspect that falls slightly short of expectations is the "crunch" factor. Despite the presence of a topping, I didn't quite experience the anticipated joy of biting into a crunchy caramelized delight. Nevertheless, this frappuccino is a delicious treat worth trying.

Summery Strawberry Crème Frappuccino

If you were a true middle schooler, chances are you spent your Saturdays indulging in Strawberry Crème Frappuccinos at your neighborhood Starbucks. While it may not have the same trendy appeal it once had, it still captures the delightful essence of a strawberry milkshake, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Tropical Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers Beverage

Nutritional info: 90 calories, 19 grams sugar

This beverage is not just a drink, but rather a vibrant masterpiece served in a cup with ice and a straw. It proudly exclaims to everyone passing by, "I have just purchased a wine-colored drink from Starbucks with actual dragonfruit!" It practically demands to be captured and shared on Instagram. Oh, and don't forget about the dragonfruit seeds (and yes, real dragonfruit!) floating around in there. They are impossible to miss. The flavor lives up to the tropical promise, although mango takes the center stage before gracefully fading away. But that Instagram photo you posted? It will remain a timeless memory.

Decadent White Chocolate Mocha

Nutritional info: 430 calories, 53 grams sugar

I wish I could wholeheartedly love this drink, but alas, it eludes me. It contains ample amounts of sugar, cream, and coffee flavor, yet the white mocha fails to tie everything together. Instead, it attempts to overpower the coffee and cream, resulting in a slightly imbalanced taste.

Although this drink may not be prominently featured on Starbucks' menu boards, it's often highlighted during ingredient shortages, when the chain aims to showcase simpler beverage options like this one, made with blonde espresso and vanilla syrup. While it certainly doesn't disappoint, especially with its flavored cold foam and other exciting additions available, it may be considered as a bit too classic and unadventurous.

Robust Dark Roast Coffee

Nutritional info: 5 calories, 0 grams sugar

Starbucks' dark roast coffee undergoes seasonal variations, but personally, when I step into a Starbucks, I'm more inclined to indulge in something like a Mocha Frappuccino.

Paradise Beverage

Nutritional information: 140 calories, 23 grams of sugar

Comparing the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher and Paradise Beverage, I would consistently choose the Paradise Beverage. It presents the same tropical flavors as its counterpart, but with the inclusion of coconut milk, it offers a creamy sensation reminiscent of the pina colada. And I have a fondness for pina coladas.

Pike Place Roast—Medium Roast

Nutritional information: 5 calories, 0 grams sugar

The Pike Place Roast is forever reserved for Pike Place. It's my preferred selection among the drip coffees (although, in the afternoon, a nearby location transitions to pour-over). Starbucks describes it as having "subtly rich flavors of cocoa and toasted nuts." It evokes a desire for a Caffè Mocha.

Dragon Drink Starbucks Refreshers Beverage

Nutritional information: 130 calories, 23 grams sugar

This beverage exhibits a color pattern reminiscent of a secret menu item based on Hello Kitty. Its taste matches its appearance—sweet like saccharine, but with a surprisingly pleasant mango and coconut milk aftertaste. It leans more towards dominant mango flavors than expected, given its visual presentation. Perfect for mango enthusiasts and admirers of a Lilly Pulitzer aesthetic.

Matcha Tea Latte

Nutritional information: 240 calories, 32 grams sugar

Indulging in this beverage is a calming experience. It combines the earthy essence of green tea with the sweetness of warm milk and a velvety layer of foam, and I am captivated. If you seek a respite from coffee and possess an affinity for green tea, this is not to be missed.

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Nutritional information: 340 calories, 40 grams of sugar

The Cinnamon Dolce Latte became my go-to drink during my high school days. Parading through the hallways with my overpriced Starbucks cup made me feel sophisticated, but the drink selection was more than just a cringe-worthy symbol of teenage status. It was (and still is!) delightful. It may not be groundbreaking, but it certainly doesn't bore.

Caffè Latte

Nutritional information: 190 calories, 18 grams sugar

Steamed milk, espresso. A layer of foam crowns the top. I relish the moment when the foam brushes against my upper lip, cradling it like a soft pillow of milk as I sip warm espresso into my mouth. I find it astonishing that I prefer this over some of their flavored lattes, particularly considering my well-documented childlike adoration for sugary flavors. But this simple beverage never fails to deliver.

Iced Salted Maple Caramel Latte

After the triumph of the PSL, Starbucks expanded their collection of specialty fall drinks to include this iced concoction with the ideal balance between caramel and coffee. Many caramel-flavored drinks often overlook the presence of coffee, but not this one. Unfortunately, it did lose its way during its journey across the pond and is exclusively available in the UK.

The only downside is that the salted maple flavor is rather subtle. It remains tasty, but it may displease hardcore Vermonters. Thankfully, they always carry a flask of maple syrup for occasions like this. Perhaps they'll be kind enough to share.Best Starbucks Drink - Iced Salted Maple & Caramel Latte

Almondmilk Honey Flat White

Inadvertently, I ended up receiving the more elaborate version of this coffee. The Starbucks location I visited was out of honey syrup, so they used real honey instead. I can't help but question why they would create a "honey" drink with honey syrup when they have genuine honey. While I await an answer, I find myself descending into an existential crisis.

The beverage itself wasn't terrible. It simply tasted like a blend of almond milk, honey, and coffee. And due to its lack of distinct character, it falls into the lower half of my list.

Nitro Cold Brew Coffee

Personally, the Nitro Cold Brew ranks at a 1/10 for me. However, if you prefer coffee without milk or sugar, you would likely give it an 8/10. The cold brew boasts a wonderfully smooth texture on top, which appeals to those who relish a pure "coffee" experience. Or need caffeine.Best Starbucks Drink - Nitro Cold Brew Coffee
